Materials & Craftsmanship

Every Obeado piece is handmade using acrylic beads threaded on nylon (fishing) line, following traditional beadcraft techniques passed down through our workshop’s artisans. Each item is assembled entirely by hand — no two pieces are perfectly identical, which is part of the handmade character of these products.

Age Suitability

Our products are made of individual beads strung by hand. Like any small, detachable item, a bead that comes loose could present a choking risk to young children if placed in the mouth. For this reason, we recommend keeping these items out of reach of children under 3, and using adult supervision for children ages 3-6.

  • 3. Store away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading over time
  • 4. Avoid placing near heat sources, as prolonged heat exposure may affect the nylon thread
  • 5. If a bead becomes loose, contact us for repair guidance rather than attempting to glue or re-string without instruction
